Nous avons le plaisir de vous informer que le premier Séminaire d’été du Fonds Ricœur se tiendra au Fonds Ricœur à Paris du 15 juin au 19 juin 2026. Il sera consacré à la question de l’imagination chez Ricœur.
Organisation
Les deux premières journées seront consacrées à la formation : le lundi 15 et le mardi 16 juin 2026 seront proposées trois demi-journées de cours (en langue anglaise) sur le thème, ainsi qu’une demi-journée dédiée à une visite du Fonds Ricœur suivie d’un travail de lecture et de commentaire sur un ou des inédits liés à la thématique choisie. Les cours seront assurés par George Taylor, Alfredo Ferrarin et Jean-Luc Amalric.
Les trois journées suivantes (le mercredi 17, le jeudi 18 et le vendredi 19 juin) seront consacrées aux présentations (en français et en anglais) des contributions des jeunes chercheurs et des chercheurs confirmés.
Contributions
Les présentations, en français et en anglais, seront d’une durée de 20 minutes, suivie d’une discussion de 10 minutes.
Nous vous prions à cet effet de nous envoyer le résumé définitif de votre contribution avant le 15 mai 2026 afin que nous puissions le faire figurer dans le programme du séminaire.
Durant la semaine du séminaire, nous vous demanderons également de mettre à notre disposition (en version Word ou PDF) le texte de votre contribution afin que nous puissions le projeter sur un écran au moment de votre présentation.
Le programme définitif du séminaire vous sera communiqué ultérieurement.

Inscription
Le montant de l’inscription au séminaire, pour les contributeurs comme pour les auditeurs, est de 60 euros.
Les inscriptions seront ouvertes à compter du lundi 30 mars 2026.

Prix Lucie Hacpille
Pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent candidater pour la première édition du Prix Lucie Hacpille, le règlement est le suivant :
La première édition du Séminaire d’été du Fonds Ricœur (2026) verra la création du Prix Lucie Hacpille. Ce prix récompensera chaque année la contribution des doctorants ou post-doctorants qui aura été jugée la meilleure par un jury réuni à cet effet. La lauréate ou le lauréat se verra remettre une somme de 1000 euros et sa contribution sera publiée la même année dans le numéro de décembre des Études ricœuriennes / Ricœur studies.
Sont éligibles à ce prix, toutes les chercheuses et tous les chercheurs en doctorat ou post-doctorat admis à présenter une communication au Séminaire d’été, et qui souhaitent candidater.
Les critères d’évaluation du jury, présidé par Jean-Luc Amalric, sont les suivants :
- Le Séminaire d’été du Fonds Ricœur portant chaque année sur une thématique spécifique de l’œuvre de Paul Ricoeur, le jury privilégie les contributions qui manifestent une connaissance précise et approfondie de cette thématique.
- Il apprécie ensuite la qualité scientifique des communications proposées : c’est-à-dire leur précision, leur rigueur argumentative et leur maîtrise éventuelle de la littérature secondaire concernant le sujet abordé.
- Il valorise enfin tout particulièrement l’originalité des contributions, c’est-à-dire leur apport spécifique à la recherche ricœurienne et la nouveauté des thèses avancées.
Les textes envoyés pour candidater au Prix Lucie Hacpille peuvent être en français ou en anglais et leur longueur doit être conforme à la durée de 20 minutes accordée à la présentation orale lors du Séminaire d’été (nombre de caractères maximum, espaces compris et notes incluses : 35000).

We are pleased to announce that the first Fonds Ricœur Summer Seminar will be held at the Fonds Ricœur in Paris from June 15 to June 19, 2026. It will focus on the concept of imagination in Ricœur’s work.
Organisation
The first two days will be devoted to an introductory course on the theme : on Monday, June 15, and Tuesday, June 16, 2026, there will be three half-day sessions (in English) on the chosen theme, as well as a half-day dedicated to a visit to the Fonds Ricœur, followed by a reading and discussion of one or more unpublished works related to the chosen theme. The courses will be taught by George Taylor, Alfredo Ferrarin, and Jean-Luc Amalric.
The following three days (Wednesday, June 17, Thursday, June 18, and Friday, June 19) will be devoted to presentations (in French and English) by young researchers and established researchers.
Presentations
Presentations, in French and English, will last 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute discussion.
To this end, please send us the final abstract of your presentation by May 15, 2026, so that we can include it in the seminar program.
During the week of the seminar, we will also ask you to provide us with the text of your presentation (in Word or PDF format) so that we can display it on a screen during your presentation.
The final seminar program will be sent to you at a later date.

Lucie Hacpille Prize
For those wishing to apply for the first edition of the Lucie Hacpille Prize, the rules are as follows :
The first edition of the Fonds Ricœur Summer Seminar (2026) will also see the creation of the Lucie Hacpille Prize. Each year, this prize will reward the contribution of a doctoral or post-doctoral student deemed the best by a jury assembled for this purpose. The winner will receive a sum of €1,000 and their contribution will be published that same year in the December issue of Études Ricœuriennes / Ricœur Studies.
All doctoral or post-doctoral researchers, who have been selected to present a paper at a particular Summer Workshop and who wish to apply, are eligible for this prize.
The evaluation criteria of the jury, chaired by Jean-Luc Amalric, are the following :
- Since the Fonds Ricœur Summer Seminar focuses each year on a specific theme within Paul Ricœur’s work, the jury gives priority to submissions that demonstrate a precise and in-depth understanding of that theme.
- It then assesses the scientific quality of the proposed papers : that is to say its accuracy, its argumentative rigor, and its possible mastery of the secondary literature on the subject.
- Lastly, the Jury particularly values the originality of the presentations, that is, their specific contribution to Ricœurian research and the novelty of the proposed thesis.
Submissions may be in either French or English, and the length of the text must correspond to the 20-minute time allowed for the oral presentation at the Summer Seminar (maximum number of characters, including spaces and footnotes : 35,000).
